Why We Don’t Pray to Marayam [Mary]: Returning Prayer to YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Through YAHAWASHI 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏Alone

Many of us were raised in traditions that honor Mary so highly that speaking to her, praying to her, or asking her to “intercede” feels normal—even holy.

But when we strip away tradition and go back to Scripture, a different picture appears.

This is not about disrespecting Mary. She is blessed among women Lawaqas [Luke 1:28, 48], a vessel chosen by YAHAWAH𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. But honoring her biblically is different from giving her a role Scripture never assigns.

This study is for those who love truth more than tradition and are willing to test everything by the Word.

1. Prayer Belongs to YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Alone

From beginning to end, Scripture guards worship and direct calling upon the Name of YAHAWAH𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

“You shall have no other mighty ones before Me” Shamawath [Exodus 20:3–5].
“I am YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄; that is My Name; and My esteem will I not give to another” Yashaiyah [Isaiah 42:8].
YAHAWASHI 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 Himself declares: “You shall worship YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your AHLAHAYAM, and Him only shall you serve” Mathathayah [Matthew 4:10].

Prayer is not casual conversation; it is an act of worship, trust, and dependence.

When we direct petitions, trust, and spiritual dependence to Marayam (Mary) [or any created being], we step into territory YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has reserved for Himself.

2. One Mediator, Not Many

A “mediator” stands between man and the Most High.

Scripture is painfully clear about how many mediators we have:

“For there is one Ahlawah (mighty one), and one Mediator between Ahlawah and men, the man 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 𐤄𐤌𐤔𐤉𐤊YAHAWASHI Ha’Mashayach”  𐤀Tayamawathay [1 Timothy 2:5].

Not one primary and several secondary.
Not one official and one “motherly.”
One.

YAHAWASHI 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 also says: “No one comes to the Father but by Me” Yahawachanan [John 14:6].

When people are taught to run to Marayam [Mary] so she can “convince” YAHAWASHI 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏, who then convinces the Father, it quietly rewrites the order of Scripture and diminishes the finished work of Mashayach as our High Priest and direct Intercessor Aibarayam [Hebrews 7:25].

If He is enough, we do not need another channel.

3. Seeking the Dead Is Forbidden

Marayam [Mary] lived, obeyed, and died in the flesh and now, like all righteous, awaits the resurrection.

Scripture warns clearly against trying to communicate with or rely on the dead spiritually:

“There shall not be found among you… one who inquires of the dead” Dabarayam [Deuteronomy 18:10–12].
“Should not a people seek unto their Ahlawah? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?” Yashaiyah [Isaiah 8:19].

Praying to departed saints [no matter how beloved] walks dangerously close to what YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 calls abomination. The enemy loves to disguise forbidden practices in religious clothing.

4. What Did Mary Herself Do?

If Marayam [Mary] were meant to receive prayers, we would see:

  • People praying to her in the Renewed Covenant writings.

  • Apostles teaching believers to call on her.

  • Marayam [Mary] presenting herself as a spiritual channel.

We see none of this.

At Cana, she does the opposite:

“Whatever He [YAHAWASHI 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏] says to you, do it” Yahawachanan [John 2:5].

She points people to Him, not to herself.

In Ma’Aishayam [Acts 1:14], Marayam [Mary] is in the upper room praying with the believers, not receiving their prayers. She stands as a faithful servant and mother in Yasharahla, not as a co-Redeemer.

5. Even Messengers [Angels] and Apostles Refused This Honor

When men tried to give spiritual reverence to the wrong place:

  • The messenger in Revelation says, “See you do it not… worship Ahlawah” [Revelation 19:10; 22:8–9].

  • Paul and Barnabas tear their clothes when people try to treat them like mighty ones Ma’Aishayam [Acts 14:11–15].

If righteous messengers and apostles refuse this kind of honor, would a humble servant like Marayam [Mary] accept millions directing prayers toward her instead of YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄?

The answer is obvious.

6. Why This Matters

Some say: “YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 knows my heart; it doesn’t matter who I direct it through.”

But Scripture says:

“The heart is deceitful above all” Yaramayah [Jeremiah 17:9].

The issue is not whether we “mean well,” but whether we obey.

When we give roles, titles, and spiritual functions to anyone that YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did not assign, we create another path, another ladder, another mediator.

This is how subtle idolatry is born: not always by open rebellion, but by adding to what He said.

7. Honoring Marayam [Mary] Biblically

We absolutely:

  • Respect her as chosen and blessed.

  • Acknowledge her faith, obedience, and suffering.

  • See her as a righteous example among the daughters of Yasharahla [Israel].

But we do not:

  • Pray to her.

  • Ask her to carry our prayers.

  • Crown her “Queen of Heaven” when Scripture uses that title negatively for false worship Yaramayah [Jeremiah 7:18; 44:17–19].

True honor is agreeing with YAHAWAH’s 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 order, not building a throne He never spoke.

Return Your Prayers to the One Who Hears

If you have been taught to pray to Mary, this is not about shame. It is an invitation.

  1. Search the Scriptures yourself. Do not lean only on tradition.

  2. Direct your prayers to YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 alone, in the Name and authority of YAHAWASHI Ha’Mashayach 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 𐤄𐤌𐤔𐤉𐤊.

  3. Renounce any dependency on created beings as spiritual channels.

  4. Teach gently. Many are sincere but misled. Share truth with patience, not pride.

Choose today to align your worship, your prayers, and your trust with what is written—not with what has merely been repeated.

If this stirred you, share this study, open your Scriptures, and ask YAHAWAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄to lead you deeper into His order. The remnant He is waking up in these last days is marked by obedience, not by popular tradition.
